Every recognized fraternity and sorority at The College of New Jersey has a governing council that is associated with their national umbrella organization. All of the chapters within TCNJ operate and are recognized under the Inter Greek Council (IGC). Within IGC are three governing councils:
- Panhellenic Association (Panhell)
- Interfraternity Council (IFC)
- Unified Greek Council (UGC)
IGC seeks to build upon the values of recognized chapters and to enhance students’ experiences at TCNJ through fraternity and sorority values-based lifestyles. If students are interested in bringing a new fraternity/sorority to campus, you can direct all questions to Aimee Wardle, wardlea@tcnj.edu, Kaitlin West, westk1@tcnj.edu, or IGC, igc@tcnj.edu.
Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The Interfraternity Council exists to promote the shared interests and values of our member fraternities: leadership, service, brotherhood, and scholarship. You can email the IFC executive board at ifc@tcnj.edu.

They are both co-ed fraternities and foster the study of business. We also have one women’s music fraternity.
